about me.

I create to understand things. The nature of what I seek to understand varies from the mundane to the divine — sometimes as simple as the colour of the sky on a particular afternoon; other times, something as vast as where I belong.

Exploration is central to my process. I move intuitively between media — graphite, oil, mixed media — following the idea rather than the form. What looks scattered from the outside has its own internal logic: I am always searching for the most authentic expression of a thought, and that search determines the materials.
